Worldwide Directory of Pathologists. It provides information of interest to pathologists that is not available anywhere else, to our knowledge. We are initially focusing on pathologists in the U.S. and Canada. We are excluding pathologists who requested the inactivation of their profiles.Totals are as of 01 November 2023, unless otherwise indicated. Some totals don't match completely - we are working on reconciling them.
The quality of this data will improve as more pathologists review and update their profiles. Pathologists, please review your pathology profile this month, when you move institutions and at least annually. Review this month because we need you to populate these new fields: Title (text), Status (trainee, staff or retired), Year of birth and Gender identity (male, female, other, blank). The Year of birth and Gender identity will only be used for summary totals in this report; individual responses will not be posted anywhere or made available to anyone.

The Directory added 1,651 profiles in Q3 (01 July to 30 September 2023) for a total of 24,667 pathologist profiles as of 01 November 2023. For Canada, there were 6 profiles added for a total of 2,176 to date. We believe the Directory is > 90% complete for academic and private pathologists. For the U.S., there were 1,572 profiles added for a total of 20,477 to date and we believe we have profiles for > 90% of academic pathologists. We are about 3 - 6 months away from being > 90% complete for private pathologists
