Revised: 7 April 2021
Proposal Submission
Dr. Nat Pernick is accepting applications for a single, nonrenewable grant of up to $10,000 for a research study of possible intermediate states for glioblastoma detectable by molecular methods. As described at Arch Pathol Lab Med 2018;142:558, complexity theory suggests that these states likely exist, even if there is no histologic evidence. Applicants will be required to publish their findings, whether positive or negative.
Applicants are invited to submit application materials describing the proposed research study with the objective of "Identifying possible intermediate states for glioblastoma using molecular methods" as outlined below. The applications will be reviewed and scored by a committee.
Application Requirements and Guidelines
Must be in PDF format in Arial 11 point font, with 1" margins, single spaced.
Application Cover Page
Following committee discussion and scoring, the most meritorious application will be selected for funding of up to $10,000. If no application meets the minimum requirements, no grant will be awarded. Applications should be submitted as a single PDF document electronically to Dr. Pernick (Nat@PathologyOutlines.com) no later than 5 pm on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. No appendix materials will be accepted.
