  • Subcutaneous nodules on the trunk and extremities which undergo spontaneous involution, and are not associated with systemic symptoms

Microscopic (histologic) description
  • Lipogranulomas of subcutis, but not in crops
Differential diagnosis
  • Weber-Christian disease: appears in crops; associated with fever and malaise
