  • Also called cellular hemangioma of infancy
Pathophysiology
  • Arises from ovarian parenchymal cells, compared to a teratoma which originates from germ cells
Clinical features
  • Abdominal mass
Microscopic (histologic) description
  • Well formed blood vessels and proliferating endothelial cells arranged in solid cordlike structures
  • Tumor entraps normal ovarian follicles
